Relevant
The One True God, who never changes, is always moving in new ways to accomplish His will on earth (Mal.3:6; Isa.43:18-19.) We honor our Christian heritage, but we don’t want to get stuck in a rut. We want to blaze new trails, and move forward with what God is doing in the earth today (Matt.6:9-10.)
Christ-Centered
Jesus needs to be at the center because He is the bridge between God and man, and salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12.) He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is the head of the church. All glory goes to Him (Col.1:15-18.)
Spirit-Filled
People can only live in a way that effectively shows God to the world through the empowering of His Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8; Gal.5:16-26.) As a Spirit-filled church we emphasize the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit here and now to change, comfort, guide and strengthen us. (Rom.12:6-8; 1 Cor.12-14
